The YBKA has asked our association to post the following statement. We have agreed to do this but it is a statement and in no way restricts our members choices in how they manage their bees.
As an affiliate of both the British Beekeepers Association and Yorkshire Beekeepers Association, Doncaster Beekeepers Association discourages the importation of both honey bee queens and colonies from outside the UK.
